it was just the earth for the relay, all sorted. compressor now working...

I bought a brand new solnoid from arb the other day and air is pouring out of it, like its exhausting the whole time.

is this just a stuffed solenoid or does something need doing to it?

sorry i have never worked with these before.

you might have the solenoid hooked up back to front, swap it around with the fitting in the compressor....have had this before

Just ignore Grimbo, I think he threw the wrong vowel in when choosing his name.

if the switches are working fine pull the fittings off the solenoid and make sure the air passages are clean. sometimes when putting them together a little bit of crap can fall in causing it to not hold air properly.

cheers dude you were correct, funny how when when you do things wrong they dont work

so the compressor and solenoids etc works great.

But I am now the proud owner of an airleaker, hmm why is that rear wheel spinning, oh and why is air pouring out of my breather and the compressor still running...

damn it im supposed to be taking it out tomorrow on the hilux run! hope against hope it can be fixed tonight, not going to be much fun though, im a little sick of pulling axles etc.

Thanks heaps to brian for getting my lockers all sorted on major late notice.
