It'd be easier to buy a gq, leaves really aren't that bad, both of my mq's flexed as well as my gq roughly, a little less in the rear but more in the front.
This is leaf sprung with reverse shackle front, gq front panels, flexed reasonably well, any more and it wouldn't be real good to drive around - never really ran out of flex, 2 lockers help if i did.

yeah i like the leafs but im looking at the coils because i want to make a tube framed truck just to bush bash in and i need the coils so i can cut some small amounts of the chassis off to make the front and back tyres stick out at both ends

i hear what ya sayin bout the leafs tho i like them too just wont work with what im planning tho

Dude I have an 84 MQ SPOA front and 4 link rear GQ Leaf frond diff, MQ rear soon to be GQ Leaf rear with 109" WheelBase

If I start from scratch I would use 60's Landcrusier Diffs. Stronger, more options, CHEAPER!!

A GQ basically is a coil-sprung MQ. And cheap as anything to buy one. So I can't see why you'd start with an MQ for this.
