Anyone here know where to scource a 1.6l carby.

Mate has a 1.3l and wants a webber, but I have told him, even tho I think they are grouse, the general consensus is that upgrading to a 1.6l carb is better.

Cannot find one.

Without ringing all round oz, can anyone help, got one ?

Told me mate, he rang, suzifour told him bad choice, it will only flood the 1.3l

Ok, IF this is so, jets required, or is this rubbish.

funny that.....no need to re-jet. last time i compared vit and sierra jets they were the same. will not flood, but reliabilaty depends on the quality of the fittment.

Joe, from everything I have read its a direct transplant, same bolt pattern, same linkage, same everything.

What am I missing.

cables are different, wiring just about the same, and the vacuum lines need to be done correctly, particularly the one way valves on the choke lines. once that is done and it is tuned as per factory for carbon at idle it should run great on road.....and even better off.

Mate tried to order, and they want to know what year vitara, ??

Is there differences, if so, which is best, if not, are they stupid or just being hard to get along with.

Thanks Mate, will tell him.

Out of interest, is that for the sake of newer, or is there some differences.

Joe, me mate is coming around this weekend, and we are going to have a go at the carby.

Any hints as to wiring (just about the same) and also the vacuum hoses.
