Anyone have a part number for the older style, grey tanked air compressors that ARB made?
I have no documentation on it and I need to know it's max current rating...
Thanks.

how accurate do you need to know? 24 amps rings a bell, the loom comes with a 30A fuse installed. if it's old it will draw more current (as the permanent magnets degrade with time

OK thanks - Not super accurate, I just wanted to be sure that the loom I have is not big enough, I'll take it back now.
Thanks.

you could use the loom you have to drive a relay, then you only need to add one fat (fused) wire from the battery to the relay then to the compressor.
whatever is cheapest/easiest.

I had one but they are only any good for locker activation, it was useless for pumping up 35" tyres

Mine is fine for my 31s...
Anyway I went back and changed it for the larger loom - All good!
