sorry about the noobness,
just thinking about moving my shocks over into the middle, is there more than just welding the new plate into the middle? and does it help in performance or lift it at all?
thanks for your help

oh ok yeah, thanks, but is there much work in it? or is it just a matter of welding a plate in the middle and moving the shocks over?

I haven't done it yet but that is the basics of it but it is a little bit more complicated as you have to amke sure it is equal both sides and such. iwas just going to buy a kit from one of the many places that sell them
Locktup
Superior
Snake Racing
Just to name a few but I'm sure there are others out there

Have you looked under your car?
The only benefit of running inboard shock mounts is the ability to fit longer shocks. Depending on the angle of the shock, you will also experience more body roll.
Unless your shocks are limiting flex, there will be no benefit.
For a more stable ride and more effective damping, the shocks should be perpendicular to the axle travel.

Inverted shocks also eliminates shock bush bind up, which is what happens when each side articulates, the shock will droop down so much until the mounting of the shock binds up, which stops articulation.
But remember the more you invert them, the less they do there job of absorbing shock.
Weld the x member in between the chassis which is supplied, weld on the diff tabs in a similar position as they are standard but on top of course. It's an easy job.
