Do the 2 door vitara front seats have a lever that automatically slides the seat forward and the backrest forward at the same time, to allow entry to the rear seats?

yes, means i can hack more of the back guard away to get clearance for the mongrels,
just worried about the extra attention it'll attract from the boys in blue
, the second one wouldn't draw as much attention, but the first would be stronger i think

you wold have had to use the base of mine and the padding and cloth of yours anyway, early vitara seats are really crap that way

i really like the one that redzook posted, but thats a looooong term proposition when i can afford 2 cars
grimbo, yours would be pretty cool to if ya need 4 seats in the thing
like redzook said, i wanna get it on there before i fark it. and there's some cool tracks at pete's peak that i'd like a go at, but you need an exo to avoid damage to the roof
andrew, the cloth is rooted on my seats, so i'm trying to find some later model ones that are still in good nick

You know what mine are - the Grey import swb pajero ones. Heaps nicer.
If you can have a go at making up your own tube bar you can easily put some other ricer seats in
