Thermo fans 24 volt

Hey guys just wanted to know where is the cheapest place to pick up a 15inch thermo fan 24 volt and can i wire it so i can turn it on by a switch not temp activated?

It's easy to set it up to run with a switch rather than temp control.
However, 24V versions are not all that common. The Davies Craig ones listed
here all come in 24V but are probably not a cheap option.
Dunno if you could get a condensor fan at a truck wrecker or something, from air con or even a refrigerated truck.
Are you trying to replace your mechanical fan or just add some extra grunt?

If you have no luck finding a 24v single fan have a think about running 12V duals of some size then just wire them in series.

Good point, in fact a similar thing is done with a lot of 12V fans for half-speed operation in Euro vehicles.

A truck wrecker would probably be the cheapest, but who know what size fans they could have!?
Have you tried Spal fans website? I'd be surprised if they didn't make a few.

all ice thermo fans come in 12v and 24v
a 10" one in 24v costs 95bux
