Then spend the $1300 on a 6:1 and keep your factory drive shaft lengths.

wouldnt you be better off using a vitara + sierra transfer ? 1:1 times 1.414
if you use two sierra transfers your high range would be to high 1.414 times 1.414 or just pull your finger out and buy a sieries three

Yeah has to be LWB to dual tcase in my view or I'd have done mine ages ago.

I may still do it but thats in a vitara , with the integral first one (shorter) and 12" more wheelbase.

Other stuff on my plate at the moment so that and the SAS are LOW priority

Just get a Series 3 rockhopper!!!!! (oh crap its catching :D )

It is going to be a more reliable unit than having twin cases. Why do you want a GTI engine???????? (now its spreading)

If it is because you think you need more power to drive bigger tyres then gearing will do this. You can run a 34" tyre with a Series 3 and on top of that add some 5:12 diff gears if you want it even lower!!!!!!!

Or is it because you're stock engine has died?????? (((((((((hey this is fun))))))))))

What I'm getting at is spell out to us what you want out of your Zuk, what are you going to use it for? What size tyres, suspension etc If you can give us a better idea we can come up with some solutions. Also do a search thru here as there have been numerous buildups and discussions ^^^^^^^^^^*************#############~~~~~~~~~~~~~ :D
