Hi all
On recommendation from a someone in the spare parts industry I ordered a set of Iridium Spark plugs BK6EIX for my 2001 Challenger, I just received them today and they are
BKR6EIX the "R" I assume is for resister, should I fit these or send them back for non resister plugs.
Also at the same time I ordered all the replacement gaskets needed to get to the plugs as well as plug tube seals, they also arrived today but the package says that the gaskets are for a 6G74 engine and my engine is a 6G72, is there any difference in these engines in this area, that is, tappet cover, inlet and surge tank gaskets. My workshop manual that I downloaded from the internet just describes the engine as <6G7>.
I am ready to pull it down and the gaskets look right but need to be sure, I have tried to contact the person that got them for me but he is away for a week so have no other way to confirm them being right, any help appreciated.
Regards
Casey
