hi guys,

was wondering if a swb cruiser cab will fit onto a bundera coil chassis, are the mounts the same,

how interchangable is the motor aslo is it just a case of swapping mounts ? .

we want to put a swb cab onto bundera coil chassis and the 13bt motor into the bundera chassiss aswell.?? and also wil the bundera mannual box bolt upto the 13bt motor ?

thanks

oook il answer what i know.

13bt wont bolt to bundera gaerbox, use the landcruiser gearbox the shafts should be pretty much the same length wise.

if the cab will fit....measure measure measure, find 1 and measure em, easiest way, i would say it would size wise fit, mount wise, u would need to make new mounts for the body.

i think a 40s wheelbase is about 88"where as a bundy is about 92-93". so you would need to either chop the guard (rear) or let the wheels hand out the front, or a little of both.

The motor i would say you would need new mounts from the engine to the rubber, ut i could be wrong, could just drop str8 in.

yeh might have to get another gearbox cause it comes with an auto dont wanna use that, was hoping the complete body would just swap over dont know if this matter but its a 24v crusier imported, think the best thing would be is to grab a tape measure and go from there

thanks for reply

bottom one is the coil sprung model, you can see the coil plates in the diagram. I assumed you were talking about the 70 series shorty?

I have a MAX ELLERY'S work shop manual for diesel cruisers that cover from 1972 up to 1990. The book has been well used & fell apart so I had to put it in a folder, which makes it easy to scan & copy pages.

Well worth the money.

They are in the factory Toyota Repair Manual, with the side profile as well.
