G'day guys

Im thinking about doing up suspenion on my ute soon and this is what i was thinking of doing! If anyone is running a similiar set up please let me know how it goes and add some photos if you want! Any other info would be great!

New mains and wraps 40mm in front and 20mm in back
extra leaf in front
taking 1 possible 2 leaves out of the back
GQ rear shocks for rear 650mm to 700mm in length
80series rear shocks for front 630mm to 660mm in length
3 degree castor wegdes
2inch extended shackles
extended brake lines and all the other stuff!

Now i have been told that you cant run a shock with a steel dust cover in the front! I dont know if you can get 75series front shocks in that length! I can get tjm gear at the right price but they only have steel dust covers! What would be good shocks to go with? father in law (almost) owns a tjm mega store so i can get anything the megastores stock at the right price! What are the tuff dog adjustables like? or is there any other shockies you would recommand!

Cheers guys

I run the 80mm EFS Elite (800mm) shocks in the front of mine on custom spring setup with brilliant travel and flex and custom EFS rears with EFS/Semi shocks in the back.

Guys at Carrol Springs/EFS @ Wacol did mine, perhaps give them a call?

Tough Dog adjustables are the poo, mate of mine has em in his gq and being a dick that is has been doing jumps on a mx track and perfect, like they were built for it, dont know how long they will last treating em like that but surely you aint doin jumps. I'd go with them all round if money wasn't holding you back.

Any pics?

Rather than custom springs for the the front use 60 series rear main and wrap leaves. Havent heard about not using shocks with the steel covers. I use 80 series shocks up front with no problems.
