Hey fellas,

Where is the best spot to mount a steering dampener for maximum effect?

Tie rod to diff
Drag link to chassis

or somewhere else?

Cheers

drag link to panhard. Nissan had it mounted from draglink to chassis in pre 88 models and they bump steer when lifted as the shock forces the steering across in bounce. Drad to panhard keeps the 2 inline and reduces this happening.

Drag link to chassis I think, closer to the steering box.

The best is tie rod to diff, as that is most directly connected, bypassing slop in any balljoints etc...
