i made mine from 3" stainless with rubber elbows from the truck shop, and flexible hose from purple pig, with lots of sealant just in case. Brackets on the A pillar are aluminium and is held on by the hose clamps. mine goes down into the guard and into the bottom of the airbox instead of straight through like most with a standard airbox would, and is on the wrong side the because of the v8, but you get the idea! not a great photo of it sorry

Same with mine, 76mm stainless tube with truck elbows, but I used a 76mm stainless elbow where it turns in through the guard.
Cheers

i noticed a few of u guys chose to have the head of the snorkel facing backwards. for me one of the best things about a snorkel is that the air is getting rammed into it..
Do you turn it around to face forward if doing highway driving etc?
Are the gains that having it facing forward gives to minimal to bother?
also seems like an important thing if your car it turbo'd?
cheers fella's

its faced backward so you dont get mud, etc in your air intake. i spin my air ram facing forward for onroad an trust me it makes a huge difference highway driving when you come to a hill. and spin it backwards and put a pre filter sock over it when wheeling to prevent dirt, dust an mud entering it. you dont go fast enough off road to make it effective for forcing air in.
