Hi,

Just to get things stright from my point of view you can adjust the torsion bars by the tensioners, the only thing i would like to know is, can i crank it only till it doesnt hit the top bump stop or does the bolt just stop turning at a point.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

The bolt will stop when the thread is at it's end. Depending on the condition of the t-bars this can be before the bumpstop hits the UCA or thereafter. If it's before you can reindex the front t-bar anchors by a few splines. The upper bumpstop must not be closer than 20-25mm to the UCA to make sure enough downtravel is provided.

as above, but mine sits around 10mm off the bumpstop and is not harsh at all on downtravel (what little it has).

cheers mark.

Good rule of thumb is no less than 1/3 gap upper and no more than 2/3 gap lower.
