I know there are heaps of threads on this one but i dont really know what type of pump i have. Its off a mq diesel and i have no idea whats what on it. So if i have to drill a hole and put in a plug please try and explain it well or a photo would be better.

Or would some mineral oil down the intake suffice?? It will only be used max two to three times a month.

Check out some of the threads on the topic - post a pic up and we might be able to help - but there are ways to lubricate the things - even self lubricate on soem types (with the gas in)...

Stop worrying.
Yes drip some oil in from time to time.
Only use pump at idle or fast idle. Turn off when driving.

Get your fittings from a hose place (Enzed) , air comp places (tools) etc.
