Hey guys, just a quick question in regards to the front diff of the D22 navaras.
Basically the problem is, the truck went in for its 120 thou service, and i thought it was also in need of a front cv replacement after some crunching sounds were heard driving in some sand a while back.
My mechanic has started the service and has found metal chunks in the front diff oil unfortunately, he thinks it may be the crown wheel that has let itself go.
Anyone gone through similar? Just wondering what has been the best/cheaper option. Ie pull it apart, and replace anything that has to be replaced.
Or, pull the entire diff out, and put in one from the wreckers?
