Bit of a Newby Question

Im looking at replacing the stock alloys on my ST GU 3.0TD (which are 17" alloys) for a set of sunraysia rims so I have a larger choice in tyres etc.

My actual question is... If I get a set of 16x8 rims, can I put on a set of 33s on these rims? or will I need a set of 16x10s. The things is... I wont be putting on a set of 33s for a while, so my purchasing these rims will be accompanied by 265/75/16 rims first up.

Any advice would be appreciated.

yes you can, and or you can get the 16x10 if you really want, its personal choice.

Some say they roll the tire off the bead with the ten inch rim, so they went back to an 8 inch one....

while mine were 15's i had issues with 15x10's with 35's rolling the beads

I would go the 8's cause they will bag out more and are better for off roading in my opinion
