Gday guys,

Just wondering...

On an SWB GQ, the rear seat mounts.....

the first pair are near the front seats, the rear bench pivots on these.

the second pair are on the body just under the sliding windows, this is where the seat clips and locks upright.

the 3rd set are where the back of the seat locks down to the floor....

Now for the question...

The 3rd set that clips down onto the floor with 2 brackets that locks down....
are there different styles of these across the year models of SWB?

The reason i ask is that i bought a set from a think a 1989 model SWB last week and then checked them against my seat and they look like that wont work as my seat appears to clip down on brackets that are 180 degrees out from the ones i bought...

Mine is a late 1993 model SWB...

anyone got any thoughts?

regards

not sure if this is any good to ya but my 89 model swb just has the hinges at the front of the seat basically right where the stepup is in the floor then the big brakcets on the floor that the seat hold down against and these ones off memory face so that the bolt it toward the back of the car and the bar that the seats lock onto are forward of the bolt. as far as i know they shouldnt be different
although i think there is a couple of different styles of rear seat in a swbs
mayby with the different style of seat comes a different type of lock down

yeh the GQ SWB have different rear seat arrangements depending on what year and what model you buy. Imported safaris usually have a different arrangement again.
