Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I'm using something like 13 litres per 100K in my newly-bought 1993 Vitara JLX 1.6 litre carby automatic.
Mild bush-bashing and a bit of bitumen.
Seems a bit thirsty. Is this about what I should expect?

íd say you need to give it a good tune up, even with the 3 speed auto that sounds thirsty

sounds right for the 3 peed auto.
