righto, so i have a 90something model surf sitting at the old mans and was wondering what bits i can scavenge of it for high steer and what bits i need to buy. approx prices too please

You can get the power steering box, and pitman arm.

You will need the bracing plate for the box, draglink, tie rod and the high steer arms.

ok thanks, so i cant use the steering arms off the surf? the things that bolt to the top of the hubs?

Never looked at them but I doubt it

You can't use the pitman arm, you need an 80series pitman, as the tierods/balljoints are tapered splines and on the ifs arm the spline is on the arm its self.

Feccckk, i'd check them out if they had a 50% off sale haha, you can get the kits alot cheaper than that, if you look outside the "big brand" lar de dah companies.

as weiners link shows he just saved you 500 dollars.

I almost had a heart attack when I was looking at a kit and saw their prices :oops:

the catch is if you want to get it engineered or not ,
if your are going to do it properly then you need to do alot more homework as i think snake racing is the only shop that has dot approval :D
im not premoting them but , its just what ive come across
