easiest thing to do is get some made....
find a machine shop and get them to turn you some up...

Ring a local steel supplier and get him to cut some off some hollow bar?

if the tower bolt up pattern is the same yes ... i have a mate with a 110 def extreme and the pattern is the same so i assume it will be the same with disco's..

Ta MadRangie. I'll work out the PCD and see if they match. I think the D2 has different upper shock mounts to the D1, but the tower mount may be the same.

now you will all be able to run 80 series cruiser shocks and pick up an inch or two travel, make sure your brake lines are long enough

I currently run rear Patrol shocks up front which are about 10". They have the eye/eye mounts which I thought was different to most of the LR stuff. I'm thinking that with the shock tower spacers it may allow more compression travel with a longer shock.

as i recently found out, one inch spacers using a threaded tube arangement has to be 30 mm to get at least 10-15mm of bolt intothe spacer. or you could grind about 7mm of the thread on the retaining ring.
imo with a good thread the bolt only needs to 10-12mm for full strength.
david.
ps also see if the spacers can be madefrom a material that can be tightened up by a tool eg-crowbar, so you can tighten them down with a spanner.
