Outer Limits 4x4 Board

g'day, ive got an auto behind my injected 4.2, ive just noticed that when i am cruising along in drive with OD off, at about 50km, if i accelerate to the point of the switch at the acc pedal 'clicks' to tell it to drop back to 1st or whatever, the power light on my dash switch comes on (in most cases), and stays on until i back off the acc and begin coasting..

it is also a bit tempremental, as in only does it when if feels like it..

its never done this before and seems to drive fine, just curious if anyone else has had this happen??

This is normal, my '95 model does it also so i checked it out. The Nissan
repaair manual says that it will automatically select power mode under heavy acceleration or when it sences more power is needed.
