hello!! I've been looking into putting different springs into my 1991 wt sierra. Im currently running front springs from a 1980 4x4 hilux ute in the rear of my zook, and i want to swap these with a softer/flexier spring. The biggest thing is, i dont want to change spring hanger mounts again.. so im wanting to find a straight swap over. My current springs are 1164 long, X 60mm wide. I have looked into heaps of other springs (eg, rodeo, falcon, courier, etc) but they will all be to stiff aswell. I just got a price from leighton spring works (spring shop in Launceston) to get custom springs made up. They can be 5mm thick, 60mm wide, 1145 long and 3 springs per pack. My current springs are 1165 long, and the shackle angle isnt the best.. so thought the ideal length would be 1145. He said they are very flexy to. $440 for the 2 packs. What does everyone else think? Has anyone ever got custom springs made?? What did you think of them??

hey mate if there is still a load leaf in the pack you could remove that, and if not remove one of the leafs this will give you softer ride and more flex. that is all i dod in my 88 lux
