I know a couple of you have been having trouble snaping the rear axle shafts in the rear 9 inch axle.
Frank I think you mentioned before the idea of getting custom axle shafts made? What is the progress on this.
Since I am upgrading to 35's and lockers soon, I want to get all my bases covered. Bad enough waiting on the trail for those broken jeep guys, I dont want to be part of the problem.

Hehehe yeah I can get the alloy axles cut to the standard dimensions no problems. But Andrew at Geelong Diffs is looking into a full floater set up for me using 80 Series Cruiser brakes/flanges etc. He just has to find the time to go through all his Toyo stuff to see what he's got and start measuring. Full floaters would be nice as we had a 60 Series Cruiser break a rear diff on a recent trip and it took about 1hr (going at snails pace) to remove the rear axles & propshaft so he could drive home in front wheel drive.

I would be all over a fullfloater setup.
That would be exellent...
But shafts would be nice too lol. How much are they roughly for a custom set.
