I know flare's would have been covered heaps of times.
I would like to find about these in particular.
Anyone know anything about them?

Actually i have the giant racing one's, they look similar. But pretty different.
The one's in that pic im sure are a type of plastic flare, (similar to waht factory ones are made from) giant are a fiber glass flare. The flare's in the pic look to me like they open up the guard more, plus they dont run back to the oringinal line of the guard for mounting. Open underneath, not dual skinned, or closed in, hard to explain.
Mine are turning toward the tyre on the bottom edge, no matter how hard i try to move it, it just dosen't look right. It kicks in.
I know i have to cut the bottom back edge of the front gaurd to fit them as they have a dish in there to help clear large tyre's. And i have done on one side.
But im not keen to keep cutting when the rear's that dont require gaurd cutting dont seem to line up.
So if anyone has info on the type in the pic, im sure someone in oz would make them.
Or some pics of giant racing items fitted so i can see how they have fitted for others, and if they had to trim the flare itself. (been told it should not be needed)
Would be appreciated.

These fibre glas flares are made in Norway, A bit different to the one made in Iceland, I have an Icelandic flare-set mounted on my GQ.

I contacted them and they told me they don't make wide flares for a GQ.
Below are Gaintracing front flares.

I too want to see some rear one's fitted.
Think you can get those pics bigger?? 3 x bigger would be good..
I have some, but they came from someone elses truck. The bloke i bought the flares from emailed them, but they are all close up angled shots of the rear ones, no straight on shot from the side so you can see exactly how they sit.

they dont look to shabby at all in those pics, are they designed on the gq for the guards to be cut to allow for bigger tires or are they to fit a standard wheel arch??

You need to cut a small triangle part out at the bottm rear corner of the front guards, where large tyre's tend to rub. Is incorparated in the flare design.
Apart from that, remeve factory flare's and screw these one's on.
