Has anyone seen or had anything to do with these (see link)? They are very cheap compared to Kaymar etc (1/2 the price). Finish doesn't look great from the pics but I am more interested in if they are tough enough to last the distance. I wonder if this a case of you get what you pay for...

Keen to hear you opinions

Saw these too...
was wondering the same question. They look solid enough. You can see the thickness of the steel it the 'T' for high lift jack. I dont really care if they are pretty, just as long as I can bash the crap out of it and it stays in one piece :P

There are afew chinese makers who are putting similar bars out and even direct kaymar copies, the US cruiser guys have bought afew, and aprt from the normal chinese build quality, and some stress cracking issues, and the bearings being a size you cant get here, or the lights, you get what you pay for value wise I guess.

If doing a long remote trip with one, leave room on the roof rack maybe, to be able to fit the spare wheel and carrier.

Providing you can find it of course, if it does come off. ;)

Hey guys. Ive got a spare wheel carrier (kaymar). But not the full steel bumper type. Just the 1 that bolts to your normal bumper (mines an 80 series). And the carrier is a bit rusty now. My welder/fabricator mate went to weld it back up for me but we have decided to make a new 1 from scratch. Redisned it to be easier, powder coated everything. Its going to be simple and strong (for hard offroad use) and look the same. If so many people are after them, ill see how much it cost me all up to do. And maybe make a bunch more while we have the templates out if anyone is interested.

How many people would want 1???
