broken engine bolts

i just fixed my engine mount the bolts were snapped in the block so i drilled them out fixed it all up went wheelin came home early beacuse they all snapped again
, so i pulled the mount out again only to find that the bolts have broken the threads off the block
. so i need some help , is it fixable without replacing

you could try using a hellicoil kit to put a new thread back into you block

have the threads from the bolts broken off in thereor has the bolts stuffed the threads in the block?

yeah the threads are snapped off the block

You can try heli-coil which may be difficult if its a shallow blind hole but you could MIG weld the hole (less heat spread dont use arc) and re-drill and tap but you must measure the depth of the hole 1st and put masking tape around the drill bit at the required length so you dont go too far. Either way have fun better you than me.

you'd need some pretty damn good drill bits to get through the welds!!

As previously suggested, try heli-coiling it. It's relatively cheap, easy and if installed correctly, can actually be better than the original thread. Go on, give it a go. What have you got to lose?
