Im pretty sure 80 series coils give a 3-4 inch lift.

best thing is to get a standed set of 80 coils and set it up with them and then you can go from there as there is more choice for 80s ie harder softer longer shorter or whatever

so then standard 80 series coils will give me 3-4 inches over standard surf coils?

stock 80 coils are pretty soft and although you will get the lift they will sag and are no good for weight..

Depends on how much weight you plan on carrying.

I have a 4" leaf spring lift on the front end on mine and 4" raised heavy rate coils are no where near tall enough and IMOP are too soft. i had to use 35mm spacers with them as well... only just the right height...

Not sure if that helps at all but give you an idea

but having said that i have a modified arb steel rear bar and a 80L prado fuel tank behind my coils/ under the tray... this weight affects this a bit.

i doubt that ill ever carry anything bigger then a big esky or something like that, the car is more of a scrub basher then anything. im just trying to match the height in the rear to the 2" lifted front and the standard surf coils arnt goin to do that without putting really big spacers in

i had king springs 4" lift coils and (i believe they were an 185lb spring) that was 2" lift...

But they were way too soft.

As i said i now have 4" heavy rate coil with a 35mm spacer and it is barely matching the 4" lift...

Might make it a bit easier to guess...

But they are still way too soft for my truck.

Think ill soon order a stiffer coil in a 5" spring.
