Trying to work out what the hell is causing an annoying "THUMP" coming from the rear of the car!!!!!????
Every time I turn a slight corner, bloody THUMP.... Turn left, THUMP, Turn right, THUMP. Sounds like its coming from the diff housing area!
Ive had a good look, can't find any evidence of things moving around! Jacked the wheels off the ground, and tried to move the suspension by hand, exhaust doesn't seem to move, shook the shit out of the car, nothing obvious.......... Can't move the spare wheel........ Any ideas

Havn't welded the diff? with my airlocker on the bitumen, you know trying to fit in with the sick welded mc hammer boys, the diff thumps as the centre locks against the axles.
Short of that the diff "could" be on it's way out and the spider geasrs/pinion gears are not spinning as they should.
What sought of car/supension does it have will help, once when i didn't retighten the u bolts after changing leafs they came a little loose and it would clunk around corners. (not safe at all)
Wheel nuts tight?

Could be worn suspension bushes or axle wrap if you have taken any springs out.

check the bushes at the front of the rear springs my bet is the wrap on the second leaf hitting the spring hangers as it moves left or right there is a clamp that holds the pack in alignment check its tight or in fact even still there........... some blokes remove it because it limits flex on leaf sprund trucks...following that as the rest of the crew said, u bolts, rear bushes, body mounts
rooted diff ...probably in that order as well ....
thump bloody thump

one more thing the hinges on the rear doors if its a barn style can wear you will get a little play in the hinge with the door open and you wll find as the body flexes around corners they move with the play causing the thump remedy move the top door rubber rest and the bottom rest out a bit to tighten up the door a little and a bit of wetsuit rubber along the bottom and top of the doors you will see the wear mark where its hitting if thats the cause or new hinges what evers easiest for you

RESOLVED
Ended up being the rear drivers side spring hanger!
I was going thru everything that had nuts and bolts, all seemed good!
Then I noticed that this rear spring hanger had two nuts on the bottom bolt, took it apart, and found the bolt was stripped of thread under the first nut, so they had a second one on top, to hold it all together
So I replaced the first nut with some washers, this covered the bad bit of thread, then bolted it up , took it for a test run, NO THUMP
Will still have to get a new hanger!
How do I tell if this is a standard hanger?
See if this pic works..............

Its standard, and its called a shackle. Shouldnt be too exy at Repco and the like. Looks like your spring eye/shackle bushes are near due for replacement too.
