Hilux LN106R Snorkels

Post by quarkz »

Hi guys,

Looking for some opinions and pictures of the Safari vs. Airtec snorkel. I have searched the internet but can't find any good pics of either fitted to a Hilux LN106R 2.8 Diesel 3L - Can anyone help?

Also, what are your opinions of the two for this particular model? I know Safari are more popular but does that make them the better choice for this particular model (Fitment, Noise, Looks etc)? I want the snorkel mainly for light 4WD use, nothing too hard core (yet) but I dont want it too look shit after a couple of years due to UV breakdown or cracking.

I have a wrecker offering me the Airtec (below) for $150. Good deal? The fitment looks a little strange to me?

If anyone has either a Safari or Airtec for sale second hand/new let me know as I would be very interested! Thanks guys

Kylie

i had a safari on my 4runner that was on there since new (92) and still looked perfect. Unless things have changed since then you cant fault that
