Best advise I can give you is fit one from a 79 series ute.

This is what I did. Its exactly the same seat and rails as the older 75 series, but is a much more comfortable seat compared to an old worn out 75er.

Mine is from a hzj79, but it is still vinyl, but thats ok. If you want one with cloth then you will have to get one from a hdj79.

If you want to swap the passenger aswell you will need the 75 rails as the 79's are different on that side.

Can pick a set on ebay fairly cheap. see them all the time.

did a topic on this the other week as listed below.

ive also fitted VY commo seats in my 75
im 6'1 and i sit comfortably in it ,only prob is the seat sits a little forward more than the old 75 seat, but can be fixed my taking the plastic cover off the back which fouls on the cab, im sure you will be able to push it back a bit further.
check my thread

I just put a 1999 Subaru Wrx STI driver seats in my 79 crusier. Makes such a difference when driving. Im a Landscaper and my back gets really sore, the last thing i need is a shit seat.

Very easy to install. I will get pics soon. I put the WRX seat on the 79 rails, the rails on the 70 series are irregular to all the others.... so its easier to fit the seat to the old rails (originals ones )
