just got a new water temp gauge for the hilux it says its 170 f so about 76c is that about right or a bit cool i cant fint anywhere what it should be its 2.8 diesel.

Thats about right, dont forget diesels run cooler than the petrols. think the thermostat opens at 70-74 yer?
