Driving lights

Well went up to the RipoffBarn this morning, to see what driving lights they had.. Remembering that they seem to have an allegience with Narvo..
Well as it turns out the 175 model doesn't look like it's going to fit into my bullbar..
So I've been thinking that maybe the light force 140 Lance's would be nice...
Has anyone used these, and got any feedback for me?? And what's a good price?? *sits down and gets prepared to be look at something cheaper*
Thanks,
Dan

I saw a driving light comparison about a year ago and for light output and spread the Narva Ultimates actually were voted better than the Lightforces (not sure which models were used?)
Food for thought.... Where the Lightforces seem to be on their own is that they are pratically indestructable. But if you don't do a lot of hardcore offroad work you could save some money.

cool.. well i liked the Narva 175... but i just don't see them fitting..
So that limits me down to something a tad smaller...
The Ultima's don't seem to come round in smaller than 175mm. And the Maxim ones looks crappy...
Are the bosch Compass 2000 (Halogen) ones expensive?

I've got some small Narvas on mine, they aren't Ultimates or anything but do more than a good job in my opinion. I bought them about four years ago and they were under $100 from memory.
Actually, I just found the catalogue online and mine look closest to the "crappy" Maxims......

I'm getting 170's when I end up robbing a bank one day
I have only heard good things about Lightforce....have a look in the for sale section there were some brand new 140's for sale in there a few weeks back...they might still be available.

I ended up picking up some Hella 140 Series lights for $130 last night from Bursons.
I wanted the 160 Series, but it just looked like to much effort to make them fit.. Planning on putting 1-2 sets of small narrow driving lights in as well, below the main driving lights, so they can be on with the low beam.

Someday when I have a bigger vehicle, I'll get bigger off-road lighting.
As for now I opted for something simple that fit my Rocky a little better. I don't know the name of these but they're small and powerfull enough to let me see anywhere.
