Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi, ive just purchased a hilux which has a commodore v6 conversion, now i cant get the front hubs to lock in, theyre the vacuum type ones, all the vacuum lines and such are hooked up, can they still be controlled with the v6 in there or do they need the standard toyota computer to work? any info greatly appreciated.
