1993 Vitara. I have a picture of the thermostat that seems to imply that the thermostat is integral to its cast housing.
Any other car in which I replaced the thermostat had a sort of generic thermostat insert. You unbolted the housing, lifted it up without removing it from its hose, lifted out the thermostat and dropped in its replacement. Can anyone point me to an image somewhere that will show me what the thing looks like and how it is replaced?
