when you work it out, let us all know
sierras aren't easy to get hooks onto. As you have a WT, you have a bit of space on the bottom surface of the rear chassis rail. It's possible to drill a couple of holes in the bottom of the rail and mount the rear one there.
The front's really hard. I use the stock tiedown ring. I've seen one (1.0 litre) ring fail on a VERY hard worked car, and it did give fair warning before it went.
I don't think it's possible to get a hook on the front in a convincing way without fabrication.
PS, I'm not crazy about hooks. unless they are mounted hook up, they rely on the spring clips to hold strap on and they tend to bend when your passing a strap through them.
Steve.

As Gwagensteve said, its hard to get hooks onto the front. You can plate teh chassis rail, drill through and mount it, or just get a bullbar and mount a point on that.
I have also used factory tiedown points, both front and rear as recovery points, and they both got the roughest ever treatment and still held strong.

you could investigate re-inforcing the front hoop with some gussets etc...
i had a hook on the rear lhs chassis rail - crush tube and plated chassis before mounting though so its super strong. Havent used it yet!
my front recovery hooks come off my front bar, however my front bar hides my chassis extension, and the hoops on the front bar go right through the bar into the chassis - once again, plated and crush tubed.
