2wd hilux cab onto 4wd hilux

Post by spazbot »

is the 2wd hilux cabs compatable with the 4wd hilux frames ? , i ssume they would be the same except the tranny shifter hole and front guards.

just trying to look at all my options as its proving very hard to find a complete cab for my hilux.

As far as I know they are provided that they look the same. I pretty sure that toyota used the same cabs in the same year.
I looked at putting an 1979 2wd cab onto my 84 surf, the four body mounts under the seats were the same but the front two were about 60mm closer to the fire wall

It will fit. I am doing the same thing at the moment. The only different parts are the front guards and T/case shifter hole.
