its a ford, how water tight are those boxes? ones i were looking at had a drain in the bottom that didnt look too water tight?
and is that 4" in and out?
how much are filters?
and the box?
i got quoted around 250 for one, but that was with smaller in and outs

that thing looks pretty water tight to me! Also it has a drain plug, but its on the top side of the outlet pipe. And yeh it looks like 4'' inlet and outlets.

that "drain plug" could also be used for plumbin in the rocker cover vent.

shw337 is on the money

and if its the same as the ones i looked at, it has a dust cap thingo on the underside, like the factory GQ pre-cleaner, which i wouldnt trust underwater.
which is why i was asking, if it doesnt have it, id love the p/n :)

sorry i cant remember the part number but it has a 3 3/4 inch inlet , and a 3 1/2 inch outlet , i have had water over the bonnet and lapping against the windscreen and no water got in the aircleaner , filters are about 33 bucks , the airbox with filter cost me about 130 bucks , and the white bung at the front is for the blocked filter sensor ( the factory one on the td42 which normally sits under the main air cleaner screws strait in , just lengthen the wires )
all parts sourced from queensland diesel spares
