rear wheel studs 80 series

Post by flyinwall »

how hard is it to change the rear wheel studs i have replaced the front ones (i snapped off 4 in brissy last weekend and i was stuck on the side of the road for about 6 hours waiting for help to arrive with some spare parts that wouldnt fit so i used some suzuki sierra wheel studs to get me home) and now i want to replace the rear ones for peace of mind so how hard is it to do and how do i do it

cheers

the same as the front mate. pull the drum of take the axel out and then take the hub off mate. and dont put the zook studs in it like we did on the side of the road.

you can up grade to 100 series studs 10mm not 8mm
just tap out 8mm studs to 10 mm,
install 10mm studs with 8mm cones opened up,
drill out flange plate on front and rear to suit 10mm.
that is the best easy way i have found
you can do it on the car if you
are good with taps and drill
you can put a spacer on, around the flange plate and studs
you can buy a 1/2 socket stud remover /installer kit stanley
its the best thing i ever brought for that shit job
