As we all know by now there are new laws coming into play on the modifications of cars/4wd's which none of us want to happen...

I received a msg this morning stating:

Be at Newcastle Stadium TONIGHT (28th of July) at 7:30pm to sign a partition to stop laws on lifting and lowering vehicles.

Now i know this is probably as good as blowing on a bush fire but i would like to know i did something to TRY stop it rather then sit back, So get down there bring your mates and tell both 4wders and the guys with mini trucks etc numbers is the key!

Cheers guys spread the msg! Newcastle has the most 4x4ers per ca pater so we should get a fair few there

James.

good for trying , but I have the feeling the RTA and Cops will be waiting with prizes for the most defective. This is my concern with these events.. people will just turn up as they normally go anywhere, cops will get a whiff of whats going on and its mayday city..
Tell em to bus it or take normal cars... car pool etc..

Yeah we left pretty much at the end, there wasn't very many cars at all left.

I reckon it was a good turn out.
Hopefully we can make a statement!

Was so good to see so many people from all different styles of car/truck to support the cause. The behaviour was very good, no real gooses that could have runied it for the rest of us. Well done to the organisers (think it was No Clearance minitruck club) for getting it together. The cops probably had a quiet night.

Big  to those that attended, and those that organised it.

Layto....

just helping out.
i was going to go to it, then i remembered it was tuesday night.
generally speaking on a tuesday i go to your mums. she cooks a roast.
then i bang her like a dunny door.
by the time i finished videoing her with her neighbours german shepard it was too late to show up.
then as i was driving off a minibus pulled up out the front of her place.
sorry maybe next time.

the question remains though. how is this tech?

Cheers guys!

Was great to see so many people there! and as others have said there were no dramas everyone was very well behaved and respected each others taste of vehicle.

I was the last to leave along with 4 others at 9:30, and we were turning people back as the petition had already left.

 Good work lads :!: and thanks to the one who organised it.

yeah it was a good turn out shame the photo in the paper dident show the pure number of people that turned up. Ethann if you could send me the pic i will send it into the paper and ask for it to be listed to show the real amount of people that where there it would be good to get a photo out to the public of just how many people are not happy about this and thats just in the newcastle area. prob wont work but its worth a try we have to do everything we can to try and stop this

They probably got a sms about it like everyone else. I bet no-one thought they would notice a couple of thousand people congregating at the stadium.

even though the stoopid ruling is delayed for now, should we still hold more of these things, id like one on the central coast, and in syd too, is there any point having more petitions signed now.
im still fighting for our rights
just after advice on whether or not i should try to organize something here
