Hi,
I was wondering if someone could advise the ground clearance for a standard LWB 1983 model when new, I need to work out based on these new laws in Australia how high I now can go
Regards,

David

It's dark and cold outside atm. If I haven't replied by tomorrow arvo PM me to remind me. What exact measurements do you need?

Gotcha. I just have a stocko LWB sitting out the front and thought I could give him the info he was after. I see what you're saying though and unfortunately I can't help.

Yes I need the actual factory specifications so I can work out the factory height to the raised height I can now go, going to be hard to fit the coil overs in.

wont it be the same as SWB? everythings the same other than more chassis and a longer body (which would add weight and sink it down lower, which is a measurement you dont want).

Try get measurements off a stockman ute or something cos they ran larger tyres factory...

I wonder if suzuki would be able to tell you if you rang them? Likely scenario is that they would be unhelpful but its worth a shot.

search "stock height" or something - there is a website which most engineers use that lists all sorts of measurements of stock vehicles - pretty sure it was QLD Govt?

210mm from the ground to the diff
280mm to the chassie
770mm from ground to top of wheel arch
the measurments were taken on a flat spot of grass, the tires were a bit flat though

germo, the springs aren't flat lining yet, but it is in the middle of a makeover :D
