Hi does anybody know whether or not a BJ40 gearbox will fit straight onto an FJ40?

is the handbrake cable at the rear or the gearbox

bj40 is 3.0 4cyl diesel
fj40 is 6 cyl petrol

gearboxes do-not interchange because of input shaft length, spline and belhousing differences.

I have a FJ40 box in the shed complete with transfer case in Melbourne.

FJ40 gearbox
