I'm trying to remove my air compressor from my car and the air lines go through the floor of the vehicle. What i'm strugging to do is remove the air hose from the fitting on the compressor to be able to pass it through the floor. How do you do this? I've unscrewed the air hoses, but I just need to remove the air hoses from the fitting. Thanks!

from memory just just push them down and they unclip from the fitting

You need to push the hose back into the fitting, then hold the small plastic ring down in the fitting at the same time. With the ring held down against the body of the fitting, then pull the hose back out - difficult to describe! - but simple in practice

This may help. Push the tube in towards the fitting. Push the "collet cap" in and hold it down. Pull the tube out.
