speakers in '88 LWB paj

A mate is after a stereo so doing a little R&R for him (lazy Phil ... do this yourself 
)
I take it the unit is just std. DIN?
What speakers are in the doors/pannels/etc. presently?
Basically i think he's after 6" in the front and 6x9's in the rear...
any possible problems?
