hi all, i drive a GQ shorty and has 5" spring and 2" body lift and when you get up to speed, say 60 or more i get a vibrating/grinding noise..ive already fitted gearbox spacers and it seemed to just quiet it down a bit. I know its because of the angle of the tailshaft but just want to know if any of you blokes have any ideas????

thanks!

I'm guessing you have gear box spacers, if no then fit them the other thing you can do if thats not the case is fit longer lower control arms or adjustable uppers and angle the pinion down so that the angles are more even (same angle at diff and gear box). I dont know this first hand so if someone else can conferm or tell me i'm wrong as i'm interested to know.
Cheers

yes this is correct, i have lengthened my lowers and still vibs, not as bad tho. i will pull the arms out and use all threat and some big nuts and nock a set of adjustable lowres up as it increases wheel base if only a lil and i have a bent upper arm to suit tank. but i am not sure how far i can extend befor my unis will bind
