I'm upgrading my TB42 to a windsor 302 at the moment and wanted to go back to straight petrol. Is there any tricks to removing the gas myself? Does anyone have an old petrol tank from a GQ they want to part with?

just turn it off at the tank and unbolt everything, easy as.
BUT if were you i woudl keep the gas, i have a 302 windsor out of a early falcon in one of my 40's that i have driven( thrashed) for over 10 years and it LOVES the gas

As far as I know LPG systems can only be removed by approved persons the same way only they can install them but whos to say what you can or can't do in your own shed!
A system we outsourced to be removed a few weeks ago (where I was working at the time) cost about $160 to have removed.
