hi all

i know that this would have been asked 245748295749294576984 times, but i searched through many many many threads, and canf find the exact answer im after.

basicly, i want to know will 33X12.5X15 Maxis Bighorns fit under my trol, with only 4Inches of spring, and zero scrubbing? if not, what will i need to modify so it does, also will i need to adjust my bumpstops. I havent lifted it yet, but when i do im thinking of either superier engineering, or 2Dextreme extended leading arms to suit the lift aswell as trailing arms, that way both diffs will be where they should be. and after the 33's, im thinking of running 35Inch centipedes, will these fit aswell. but atm, my main concern is the 33's.

also, i am after anybodies opinion of the superier or 2Dextreme trailing and leading arms(price, effectivness etc...)

cheers all

What he said.

To get the corn popping, what sort of "trol" is it?

They will be fine. Make sure you fit adjustable panhard rods to centre your diffs.

Get some -22 offset rims too.

PS. Thanks for the popcorn fellas!

hey guys, i surpose that some more info would help.

its a 1992 GQ, 4.2 Diesel, and i am able to get a set of 33X12.5X15 Bighorns, very very cheap, so i am seriously considering it.

cheers guys

All I can say is don't do a cheap lift as you get what you pay for. I run 305/70/16s (33s) on a GQ with 2" lift and never had any hassles at all.... Have read posts on here from dudes with 4" lift that have said they foul the guards, so it appears every vehicle is different.

Unless you have massive GQ sagg, you should be fine for on road use with your 33s and standard suspension.

I have a 3"lift with 33s, i have adjustable panhard bars, adjustable rear trailing arms, radius arm spacers and they dont scrub at all and im about to drop my lift to a 30 or 50mm lift and i will be able to adjust everything so that the 33s still wont rub. In saying they wont rub if you have the right set up to put everything back where they belong after you have done your lift.
