GQ or GU power steering pump??? which one is best????

i've got a 91' GQ TD42 and i need a new steering pump cause my is shagged. i've heard that the GU pumps are better and don't overheat like the GQ ones can. if anyone could give me an idea as to which one to go for that would be great. im running 35's by the way

The GU one has a smaller pulley and runs faster giving better steering assistance at low speeds. Put a decent cooler on and flush the system out well.

yeah i gave the system a flush and it still isn't any good...
do you know if the GU pump fits straight on or does it need a bit of a chop to fit?
