Hilux SFA 35s NSW

Post by nullack »

Gday

So I have engineering cert for 32.5s on my SFA hilux. My usual engineering signatory seems to be on holiday or something.

Has anyone managed to get 35s engineered in NSW? If I can keep the wheel track to spec and just focus in tire diameter? Im running 50mm suspension and 50mm body lift with the total lift currently under 150mm. 35s will put it over a 150mm total lift.
Im here for the sausage!

hey mate,
I called 6 engineers in sydney this week and they all turned me down.
I have a 4runner with 35s on 15x8 rims. My trim height is 10inches higher than stock. My mates GU patrol is engineered for 38s on road and his trim height is 13inches higher than stock.
Most turned me down for height and others turned me down due to it was a hilux.
Cheers
Dan

35's

Post by Stulux »

I got mine passed in janurary this year on 35's on 15x8 steelies. I had to get a speedo ratio box and a calibration report done and fit flairs. I have 50mm body lift, and about 2-3 inch springs. The rta didn't blink when I handed in the report.
