no need for a roll bar unless you're doing crazy extreme stuff or can't drive... lol
go 2" springs, new shocks, offset rims, 225/75 tyres and a rear locker and youll be almost unstoppable on most terrains.
that's whay i'd do if i was building on the cheap.

have a read through ll the great info in the bible at the top of this section lots of great info.
Next step is to just drive it as it is and get a fee for the vehicle and workout what is limiting you from the driving you are doing then mod from there. If you jump straight in and start modding with no experience under you belt you will end up having to change most of mods down the track because they aren't actually what you need.

Yeh what Grimbo speaks is the way to go.
Dont just go out and mod the hell out of a truck, then go drive it.
Buy it and drive it with mates to help recover you. Like a lot of ppl here, i bought mine completely bog stock on 26" highway terrains, and it was unbeleivable where it went, only needed a snatch in a couple of hard spots when I took it out.
Then i gradually modded it as i felt it needed, and eventually turned it into the beast it is today.
